IP01FK is an Ethernet to Fiber Converter that can transmit data communication protocols including Ethernet, Fast Ethernet, and Gigabit Ethernet over fiber optics. IP01F can also work as an Ethernet over fiber extender with a transmission distance reaching up to 20km over a single-mode fiber module and single-core fiber cable. The plug-and-play media converter is an ideal solution for CCTV networks, AVoIP systems, and IT infrastructure.
Up to 1000Mbps 20KM Ethernet to Fiber Media Converter
As a high-speed network fiber converter, IP01F has a built-in SC single-mode connector and can be used to extend the network over fibers for up to 20 km with a maximum bandwidth of 1G. For large projects, the long distance and high bandwidth are ideal for connecting large switches in the server room or transmitting multiple cameras or network equipment at once.

Single-Mode Fiber Transmission
There are two major types of fiber optic cables: single-mode and multimode. While single-mode fiber is used for long-distance and high bandwidth transmission, IP01F is equipped with single-mode and can reach a long transmission distance of up to 20 km.
IP01F also supports 10/100/1000Base-TX and 1000Base-SX interconversion with up to 1G bandwidth and is backward compatible to reduce the cost of changing equipment.
1G High Bandwidth for Long-Range CCTV Fiber Extension
Large projects usually centralize IP equipment and extend fiber from the control center to the equipment over a long distance while distributing signals.
Supposing the bandwidth consumption of a 1080p, H.264 decoded, 10fps camera is 2.1Mbps, SC&T's Fiber Media Converter with 1G bandwidth can transmit signals of 475 cameras.

Free from Noise Caused by Electric Power
As power cannot be transmitted through fiber cables, using fiber cables to transmit signals can prevent the noise caused by electric power. As a result, the use of Ethernet over fiber provides you with better IP (network) signal quality and a better audio/video/networking experience.
