Overview
HE02U-4K6G is a high-performance HDMI KVM extender powered by the latest HDBaseT 3.0 technology. It is specifically designed for industrial control environments where zero latency and ultra-high-definition visuals are critical. Using just a single CAT6a (or higher) cable, you can transmit uncompressed 4K60Hz signals up to 100 meters.
Equipped with the Valens Stello VS3000 chipset, this solution supports high-speed USB 2.0 and integrates bidirectional RS-232, audio transmission, and Ethernet extension. It is the ideal KVM solution for industrial control, broadcast centers, medical imaging, and large conference rooms.

What are the primary differences between HDBaseT 3.0 and the previous HDBaseT 2.0?
A: The most critical difference is the bandwidth. HDBaseT 3.0 increases bandwidth from 10 Gbps to 18 Gbps, enabling the transmission of uncompressed 4K60Hz 4:4:4 signals. While this ensures superior image quality, it also requires higher-grade network cabling to maintain stability.
Will there be latency for USB devices over long distances?
A: No. HDBaseT 3.0 technology provides a Zero Latency environment. Even at the maximum distance of 100 m, mouse dragging and keyboard input remain as responsive as if they were connected directly to the computer. This makes it an ideal solution for gaming or medical workstations that demand precision.
Does this product require specific network cables?
A: To ensure stable 4K60Hz transmission over 100 m, we strongly recommend using HDBaseT-certified CAT6a U/FTP cables or higher. For the best results, please refer to the specific cable models tested and verified by SC&T.
Can this system be connected through a Network Switch?
A: No. HDBaseT utilizes a proprietary transmission protocol. It requires a direct, point-to-point connection between the Transmitter (TX) and Receiver (RX) using a network cable and cannot be integrated into standard IP network switches.
Is it backward compatible if my monitor resolution is not 4K?
A: Yes. The HE02U-4K6G supports backward compatibility and features HDMI pass-through, requiring no additional configuration.
Can I connect a webcam to the USB ports?
A: Yes. The HE02U-4K6G supports the USB 2.0 standard, making it compatible with most USB cameras, flash drives, and Human Interface Devices (HID).
Does it support CEC control?
A: Yes. The product features CEC Passthrough, enabling remote control across connected devices. For example, you can conveniently power your source equipment on or off from the receiver side using your existing remote.
Does it support PoH/PoC? Can I power the system from just one end?
A: No. The HE02U-4K6G does not support PoH/PoC functions. Both the Transmitter and Receiver units require their own power supply to operate.
What should I do if the video flickers or shows noise?
A: HDBaseT 3.0 is highly sensitive to cable quality and environmental interference. Please ensure the network cable is undamaged and kept away from high-voltage power lines. If the issue persists, please consult our "HDBaseT Installation & Troubleshooting Guide" available on the official website.
